The Origins Project Foundation inspires and educates through provocative and exciting public events and online content. The expertise of the individuals and the subjects we discuss range over the full expanse of human intellectual inquiry–from fundamental questions about the Universe and humanity to issues at the intersection of popular culture and science. We also organize global excursions to interact with thought leaders, often with access to areas and projects normally beyond the reach of the general public.

We bring renowned thought leaders and celebrities from the worlds of science, humanities, the arts, business, and government together in provocative events on stage to discuss the most important issues facing humanity in the 21st century.

We produce a high-quality video podcast called the Origins Podcast. That and other online resources, such as our Science Matters program, help the public better understand and appreciate the ideas and innovations that are changing our world today and tomorrow.

Our Origins Travel adventures take small groups to sites of great historical significance and natural wonder. These include places of cultural and environmental richness that may be vulnerable to climate change or development pressures.
Our goal is to enrich your perspective of your place in the cosmos by providing access to the people who are driving the future of society in the 21st century, and to the ideas that are changing our understanding of ourselves and our world.
The Origins Podcast features in-depth conversations with some of the most interesting people in the world about the issues that impact all of us in the 21st century. Host, theoretical physicist, lecturer, and author, Lawrence M. Krauss, will be joined by guests from a wide range of fields, including science, the arts, and journalism. The topics discussed on The Origins Podcast reflects the full range of the human experience – exploring science and culture in a way that seeks to entertain, educate, and inspire.
Lawrence joins astrophysicist and science communicator Neil deGrasse Tyson in his office at the Hayden Planetarium in New York City to discuss Neil’s background, science communication methods, creating the perfect science sound bite, and much more.
On this episode of The Origins Podcast, experimental psychologist, Steven Pinker shares an excellent conversation with Lawrence Krauss. Steven and Lawrence cover a variety of topics, including rationality, evolutionary psychology, and language.
